Overview
Payment Manager serves as our primary reporting engine. The Payment Search tab allows you to quickly locate specific transactions processed through the system. You can perform broad database searches or use advanced filters for specific payment fields.
Search Options
1. Quick Search
Located in the upper left corner, Quick Search is the fastest way to find a transaction using a single identifier.
Search by: Cardholder name, Amount, or Transaction ID.
2. Date Range (Pre-made Reports)
Located in the upper right corner, these are preset reports for approved transactions only.
Available Ranges: Today, Yesterday, Past 7 Days, Month to Date, and Year to Date.
Note: Declines and errors will not appear in these results. To find unsuccessful attempts, use Advanced Search.
3. Advanced Search
Use this section for powerful, granular filtering. Unlike pre-made reports, Advanced Search shows all transaction activity, including declines and errors.
Customization: Use dropdown boxes to select specific fields and matching data.
Multiple Parameters: Click Add to include more fields.
Logic Toggle: Only check "Show me transactions that meet ANY of the parameters" if you want broad results. Leave it unchecked if the transaction must meet all specified conditions.
Managing Your Results Grid
Once your search results appear, use these tools to customize your view:
Modify Search: Search parameters are hidden by default once results load. Click the arrow next to Show Search Parameters at the top to make changes.
Column Configurator: Click the icon in the upper right of the grid to choose which data columns are visible.
Note: These settings are saved at the user level and will remain your default view.
Organize Columns: Drag and drop columns to rearrange them, or click the triangle in the header to Sort (ascending/descending).
Filter: Click the filter icon in any column header to refine the current on-screen results.
Exporting Data: All exports are provided in Excel format.
Full Export: Downloads all raw transactional data for your search results.
Export Current Columns: Downloads only the data visible in your customized view.
Pro Tip: If you are trying to troubleshoot why a payment attempt was not approved, always use Advanced Search to ensure declines and errors are visible in your report.
