Traffic is communicated through TLS 1.2 using AES-256 encryption.

What type of connection is made to the firm’s network?

Secure TLS (https) Communication that can only be done from our server (that has the installed TLS certificate) to your server with the installed web service and matching TLS certificate through an opened firewall port.

What information is exchanged?

High-level client, matter, invoice information coming out and payment data going back in (never any card data); no invoice detail information is exchanged.

How is the information kept secure in ClientPay?

All data is stored at Amazon Web Services and is encrypted at rest leveraging AES-256.
