SurePoint Integration Instructions

This guide provides the exact steps for admins to locate their Account Key and PIN and enable credit card processing for team members.

Overview

Integrating the SurePoint Legal Management System (LMS) with ClientPay requires coordination between your firm's admin and CSR setup assistance. This guide walks you through locating your credentials and configuring user access.


Phase 1: Retrieve Your Credentials

To link the two systems, you will need an Account Key and an Account PIN.

  1. Log into your ClientPay portal.

  2. Navigate to Settings > General (Admin privileges required).

  3. Locate the API Integration Information section in the center of the page.

  4. Find the Integration Point labeled SurePoint.

  5. Copy the following:

    • Key: This is your Account Key.

    • Pin: This is your Account PIN.

TIP: We recommend copying and pasting these values directly to ensure accuracy during the setup process.


Phase 2: Grant User Access in LMSV

Once the integration is active, you must authorize specific security profiles to process credit cards.

  1. Open your LMSV Security Profiles.

  2. Select the desired profile from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select the Access Rights tab.

  4. Under the LMS+ section, find Credit Card Processing.

  5. Set the selection to Yes.

  6. Repeat these steps for every profile that requires payment processing capabilities.
